Sussex has turned a beautiful golden glow around the lakes and the trees setting this autumn into a truly magical environment. I was fortunate enough to be able find some new locations this year, including the tunnel of trees in Halnaker which looks absolutely stunning at this time of year.
The Adur Ferry Bridge is now complete and ready to open tomorrow! What used to be called the Shoreham Footbridge is now modernised and revamped ready for the public. The footbridge connects from Shoreham High Street to Lower Beach Road on Shoreham Beach. It provides a useful link for pedestrians and cuts about 1.5 miles off the alternative route via the main roads. Here are some photos as the sun was setting this evening.
I have been following the recent work to our new local footbridge and after witnessing part of the old footbridge being demolished I dug out these lovely views of our old footbridge from my archive as we await a new landscape.
Here are the latest set of images I have taken of the West Pier. The images have been added to my online shop. Check out www.sussexphotos.co.uk to see all prints.
Autumn has produced some wonderfully vibrant colours this year due to a long cool and wet summer. Sussex looks beautiful in autumn and it is one of my favourite times of the year to photograph. Attached are some recent autumnal photos from the collection.
There are beautiful seas of red colour all over Sussex right now.... with the vibrant and dense fields of poppies. These look great especially with the sun going down late in the evening. Here are some photos from a local field in Falmer.
There are some stunning rape oil seed fields just by the River Adur this month, providing an iconic shot with Lancing College in the background. Here are some recent photos on a sunny summers day...
"Our wedding photos are truly amazing; we are so pleased with them, thank you Scott!"
