Fatboy Beach Volley Ball Tournament at Yellowave
I was invited back this year to the Yellowave Fatboy Beach Fest which was yet another great success (we even had some good weather!) On the Saturday Shaun Morrison and Peter Dyakiewicz triumphed in the men's 2-a-side competition beating Damo Sulc and Jake Sweeney 21:14. Whilst in the women's competition Jessica Grimson and Vicky Palmer beat Cristina Plazas and Amelia Hart in a tight run final.
UIM F2 World Championship Powerboat Racing
I was at the UIM F2 Powerboat Show held at Grimstad, Norway. This event is the biggest powerboat show by the number of classes and participants in Scandinavia. Having three classes running for a World title at the same weekend has never happened in Norway. I photographed the final day of the show.
Adur Indoor Bowling Club
The Adur Bowls Club asked me to come along and provide photography coverage for the National Men's Single Bowls Competition. David Hubbard was the first ever bowler from Sussex to win this event and at 22 years of age also the youngest. David has been a member of Adur Indoor Bowling Club since 2004.
Yellowave Brighton Beach Fest 2011
This years Brighton Beach Fest was another great success. The weather was perfect for photographing this event. On the Saturday Shaun Morrison and Jan Kucherko triumphed in the mens 2-a-side competition beating Ivan Vatolik and Renato Silva in a tight run final. Whilst in the womens competition Maggie Okopony and Sandra Rogat beat Federica Ferretti and Daisy Mieture. For the Sundays mixed 4-a-side event, Christophe Datler, Peter Dyakiewicz, Anna Dasilva and Maria Anderson beat Yellowaves own Damo, Jake, Grainne and Cait.
Yellowave Footvolley Championships 2011
I was asked along to the Annual Footvolley Championships at Yellowave to capture this dynamic event. Holland, Spain, Switzerland, Brazil and England competed against each other in these annual championships. Despite great competition it was an all England final with Gary Titley and Dave Donkin beating rivals Ben Coyne and Jimmy Greenwood, who were last years winners, in two straight sets to take home the trophy.
Yellowave Volleyball 2010
I was asked to cover the Volleyball England Barefoot Beach Fest tournament. The national event saw a number of local teams win trophies.
UK Footvolley Championships
England (Greenwood/Coyne) beat Brazil (Santos/Manezes) in an exhilarating three set final that kept spectators on the edge of their deckchairs at Yellowave in Brighton.
